To chat during a live stream, use the chat message input field. On web, it's beneath the chat messages. On iOS and Android, swipe right to enter the chat interface, where chat messages appear overlayed on top of the video.
Chat messages can be up to 150 characters long. They're displayed to everyone watching the video, and can be replayed when the video is viewed after it is no longer live.
Emojis
Emojis can be included in chat messages. If using a web browser, click the emoji button to the right of the chat message input field.
Mentions
Use the @ key to mention another user who is already in the chat. @samplewatcher will cause "samplewatcher" to be notified of your message.
Muting
If you do not want to see another user's messages, you can mute that other user. On web, click the overflow menu that appears to the right of one of that user's messages and click Mute. On iOS or Android, long press a message to be able to mute the person who wrote it.
Profiles
Click or touch a message to view more information about the author of that message, without leaving the video.
