The best way to share Halogen content is by promoting it. Click the promote button on any video, and you'll be able to share it to:

• your own Halogen profile
• Facebook or Twitter
• anywhere else, via a URL You can text a friend the URL, or send it out in an email.

People who click the video on your profile (or the link you share) will be taken to the video. If that video has a cost, and they pay that cost, you'll get what's called a "promoter's fee".

For example, let's say that Ed uploads a video. Ed sets its cost to be 1,000 coins and its promoter fee to be 100 coins. Jen promotes that video to Twitter. Everyone who buys the video from Jen's link will earn Jen 100 coins. If twenty of her friends buy it, she would earn 2,000 coins!

Promoting Free Videos

Promoting free videos does not earn you any coins, but it does let the creator know that you shared the video, and how many people watched the video because of your link. Aside from gifting and tipping, it's the best way of letting a creator know that you like their work!
